REDLANDS DRYER VENT CLEANING
The city of Redlands is located in the San Bernardino County and located just 10 miles east of downtown San Bernardino and approximately 60 miles northeast of Los Angeles. It is a beautiful city with many historic buildings like the A.K Smiley Public Library, built in 1898 and the Redlands Bowl, built in 1930. The latter is home to the oldest continuously free outdoor concert series in California. In 1900, the city became known as “The City of Millionaires” and later on as “The City of Beautiful Homes”. This is rightly so because Redlands is home to many beautiful historic homes such as the Morey House known as “America’s Favorite Victorian”, or the Kimberly Crest House and Gardens. Take a drive through Olive Avenue and Highland Avenue and see more of these stately homes. An interesting trivia? This area was once known as the “Butler Belt” because at one time, that was the most dense population of homes employing butlers in the city.
The city was founded in 1881 and was incorporated in 1888. From the time that the first citrus tree was planted in 1882 and for much of its history, the city also became known as the “Washington Navel Orange Growing Capital of the World”.
Redlands plays host to many events and some of the most interesting ones to visit are the Night Market which opens every Thursday night, the Saturday Morning Farmers Market which goes on year round every, well, Saturday morning. In June, there is the Redlands Theater Festival. The Redlands Bowl season happens from June to August.

The most frequent question we get from people is how often should a dryer vent cleaning be done. The standard answer would be once a year because this is what the NFSA recommends. However, a lot of factors may affect how often you need to have it done. Among the factors that affect it are:
How many people are using the dryer
Is the dryer more than ten years old
If you have pets that shed hair
If your dryer vent is long and/or has several turns in it.
If your dryer vent exit point is on the roof or/and most of the vent length is in vertical position.
Keeping your clothes dryer venting system clean is a key component to improving fire safety for you and your family. Annually, over 15,000 fires are caused by clogged dryer vents. All the elements for a fire are already there - extreme heat, oxygen and a combustible fuel, lint! Clogged dryer vents not only pose a fire hazard, but dust and lint from the vents makes the air in your home dirty as well. And if you are wondering why your electricity bill have spiked up? A lint clogged dryer vent will make your dryer work longer and longer to dry a load. The result? Higher energy consumption.
